Seasonal Allergies and the Food Connection

March 30, 2014

Ahh…Spring! The sun is shining, the birds are singing and the flowers are in full bloom. As refreshing and beautiful as this season is, it can also be a difficult time for allergy sufferers. Allergic rhinitis, also known as hay fever, affects millions of people every year. For seasonal allergies, the immune system reacts to airborne pollens, typically in the spring and summer, and mold spores in the fall and winter.
